The mysterious sex life of the Ottoman Society has remined a taboo until recent yerars.
Even now it is not truly unveiled.
Beyond the facade of convertional relations, the sexual life of the Ottoman Society was surprisingly rich and colorful.
The Ottoman man was a conneaisseur of every kind of beaty.
His addicton to all kinds of sexual experience was possible in the cosmopolitan context naturally, with a good deal of tolerance from the administrators in sexual matters.
On the other side of the coin, we find that the experiences enjoyed by the women were equally colorful.
Here are some chapters from this wealth of experiences: A Great Mystery: The Harem Professional Sex in Ottoman Society Beauty Norms of the Ottoman Man Bahnames: Handbooks of Sexuality Çengis and Lesbians The Domestic Mistresses: Odaliques The Most Beautiful Women of the World; in Ottoman Eyes The Warm Nests of Love: Turkish Baths Homosexuality in the Ottomans Love Signals Sex Humour of the Ottomans Ottoman Texts on Sexuality Sex Scandals Which Shocked Ottoman Society (Arka Kapak)
